John Henry Roofing, Inc. was founded in 1974 by current President and Owner, John Madden. With over twelve years experience as a sheet metal foreman, John started the business out of the garage at his home that year. John’s hard work ethic, excellent customer service, and strong business sense propelled this humble beginning into the successful business that John Henry Roofing, Inc. is today. The company settled at its current Hichborn Street location in Brighton in 1979. Over more than four decades, John Henry Roofing, Inc. has earned a reputation for excellence and dependability in all types of roofing, from hot asphalt, to EPDM, to metal, shingles, and TPO.

Proud to call John Henry Roofing, Inc. a second-generation family business, John has expanded his team to include his son Jim, daughter Colleen, and son-in-law Glenn, along with a team of talented and hardworking roofing and sheet metal professionals.

Along with pride in the quality of its work, John Henry Roofing, Inc. takes pride in giving back to the community and those in need. The company a proud supporter of the American Parkinson Disease Association, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, the Special Olympics of Massachusetts, Franciscan Hospital for Children, and several other local charities.
